This week our group spent time brainstorming for what our project would be about. We are supposed to make a scene inspired by a game. We chose to model our scene after Dragon Age, and after some research found the town "crossroads". I will be modeling building #1, which is a barn/sawmill. The building on the left in this image represents my building accurately:

We also drew out a map of where our assets will be in relation to everything else, as well as a size comparison.

We also made a minimum asset list to make sure we passed, as well as some extra items to make the scene a bit more interesting too.

Finally, I made a small primitives scene to layout all the things I will make next week. I set up the building to know where I will need to build walls, for example there will be planks lining all of these walls, but windows also need to be defined so I need to know where to cut holes in the building. There are also other minor details I can add on the building later, like supportive logs on the roof and even a grassy patch. I added a bench with tables to model along with it since it won't take too much time. I plan on keeping the barn doors open since we aren't supposed to make the interior of the buildings, and the windows will have shutters that are closed. I also have some stacks of logs to place behind the building.
