A huge part of Sprint 4 for me was to update all of our fabricator props to function better in engine as well as provide a more interesting visual aesthetic. I took advantage of this time to concept and discuss with the team about things that would be more interesting to watch on screen for the player. Each fabricator could direct robot parts in different directions as well as some fabricators had a special purpose, such as the final one, which was tall so it could output an entire completed robot. These small elements would help tell a visual story for the player and hopefully provide a more satisfying and fun experience.
This process was relatively easy, though time consuming. I made sure to concept out all of the fabricators and then tackle each one separately as they all had their own unique traits. With time and focus though, each obstacle was overcome and I finished each fabricator, all of them looking unique and fun.

Each fabricator would give me more options in engine to build factory layouts with assembly lines that could cross over each other, providing a more interesting experience for the player. Overall I achieved this and was easily able to complete my next cards which were those factory layouts.

Here is an example of our second factory layout, which already looks much more interesting as there are plenty of things going on onscreen, despite the lack of alternating fabricators, as all of their coding functionality wasn't complete yet.
Additionally for this sprint I build some new factory backgrounds for the player as they progressed through the game. Here are some examples of those.

The only challenge I faced during this sprint was remembering a crucial detail to expand on the size of factory floors. This was an ask from my team lead and I forgot to write this down, so as I finished some new layouts I had to be reminded to scale these up, requiring me to go back and fix this. This only held me back a little bit though and didn't have too large of an affect on the entire sprint.
I am proud of what I achieved in this sprint, I felt I was being carried by my team points-wise in previous sprints, so I wanted to step it up this sprint and do that. Even with having a conference to attend during half of this sprint I was able to catch up and get 27 points completed for this sprint, so overall I'm happy with my productivity this sprint and look forward to keeping it up.
